Right of cancellation for consumers

(A consumer is any natural person who has completed a legal transaction for purposes which predominantly cannot be attributed to either their commercial or their independent professional activity.)

Right of cancellation

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without stating the reasons.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the date

• that you, or a third party appointed by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the products, provided you have ordered one or several products within a standard order and these were delivered as standard, or
• that you, or a third party appointed by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last product, provided you have ordered several products within a standard order and these were delivered separately, or
• that you, or a third party appointed by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last part of the shipment or the last part, provided you have ordered one product which was delivered in several shipments, or
• that you, or a third party appointed by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the first product, provided you entered into a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a determined period of time.

In order to assert your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Kaufmann Keramik GmbH, Otto-Hahn-Straße 1, 95111 Rehau, Germany, Germany, telephone number: +49 (0) 9283 89806-0, email address: info@kaufmann-keramik.de, fax number: +49 (0) 9283 89806-66) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by way of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, email or fax). You may use the enclosed template cancellation form, however this is not mandatory.

To observe the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send your notification of the assertion of your right of cancellation before the cancellation period elapses.

Consequences of cancellation

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments which we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs incurred if you selected a different type of delivery from the least expensive standard delivery we offer) without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day upon which we received your notification about your withdrawal from this contract. For this refund, we shall use the same payment method that you used in the original transaction, unless something else has been expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances shall you be charged fees for this refund.

We can refuse to refund the payment until we have received the products or until you have provided proof that you have sent the products back to us, depending on which occurs earliest.

You must send or return the products to us without undue delay and in any case within fourteen days from the day upon which you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract. The period is deemed observed if you sent the products before the period of fourteen days has elapsed.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You must only pay for any loss of value to the products if this loss of value is due to handling of them which is beyond what is necessary for the purposes of testing the quality, features and function of the products.
